Traditions and Celebrations

Among the traditions of enormous popularity at CAS is the annual Christmas gingerbread house competition in which student small groups compete to build the best gingerbread house by using a set of guidelines that require all houses to be made primarily from eatable material. It is a tradition to which all students look forward.

Another tradition is the PEP competition. PEP—pursuing excellent performance is a program where students compete against themselves to earn the right of an afternoon of fun activity such as bowling, baseball, ice skating or swimming. By meeting requirements of no zeroes, no tardiest, no detentions for a six week period, a student will qualify for participation.
