Bus Transportation

CAS offers bus transportation to students in Shelby County and surrounding areas. Bus rules and regulations will be reviewed with the students at the annual Bus Safety Assembly each fall. Students are expected to conduct themselves according to these rules and regulations. Violations may result in suspension or expulsion from riding the school bus and/or school.

• Obey the bus driver at all times.
• Back to back, seat to seat, feet to floor.
• Nothing in aisle.
• No food or drink.
• Be quiet at railroad tracks.
• Use indoor voices.
• No standing when the bus is in motion.
• Enter and exit at the bus driver’s signal.
• No body parts shall be outside of windows.
• Students are not allowed to enter the bus until driver is present.
• No electronics

Any changes in bus pick-up/drop-off locations need to be presented to the office in written form—signed by the parent--with the new address and date desired to start. IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN, the child will be required to go to his/her normal drop-off location.
